can i connect maxisys to a volvo penta marine engine?

    I have a volvo penta 5.7 (chevy engine basically) and would like to connect and diagnose . Has anyone done it please?

     I don't believe an Autel Automotive scanner supports any Marine , HD truck, or motorcycle, or specific RV applications. Even  If the marine application actually has a true engine management system with self diagnostics with  16 pin OBD2 style diagnostic connector it still may or may not  support a generic OBD2 automotive scantool to pull the rudimentary engine management codes the marine application might have.

      Beside what Witsed said please confirm if it's 12v or 24v, because, I think,  VCI of autel only work with 12v

    It is 12v. I believe that most of the volvo penta engines were either car or truck engines
    converted to sea water heat exchanger cooling
